Mash time

On Beersmith 2.2 I am doing a full body beer 17 LBS of grain for a 5 gallon batch.
On my mash profile, the mash time comes up as 45 min. I just cannot see that mashing for only 45 min can work.
Any suggestions? Comments? Help?

My Beersmith does the same thing. I ignore it and mash for an hour.

Beersmith is a tool to help you brew the way you want to brew. It is NOT instructions about how to brew. You get to decide that for yourself. Don't let the software push you around.
