Mash problem

I dissolved 10kg white sugar in 40 litres of water reaching to 1.1 sg then added 70gm boiled fermax yeast nutrient after 12 hrs sg dropped to 1.05 didnt put yeast yet waiting to cool down it is 34 degree c now.. i dont understand this

Stir it up and take another measurement.

The ph on adding the sugar and the nutrient was,7.3 now x it is 5.4 without applying the yeast

What was the wash temperature when you took your gravity readings? Most hydrometers are calibrated to about 60F -15C. There are calculators out there on the interwebs to correct for different temps
