Hope I am posting in the right place. Here we go. I have just acquired the Mash and Boil brew system and on seeing a post in another forum regarding a newly acquired Nano brewery which included a pulley system for lifting the grain basket. I got to thinking that would be a great ides for my system.
So what do you guys think to using 2x4 as a frame work to support the pulley? Maybe even double them up for extra strength?

Basic 2x4s would work just fine, probably more than strong enough for that system. Electrical conduit is nice and rigid and might also be a good choice. Some people have found a shelving unit works well with some of the shelves removed.
