Served in a coconut, I assume?
Tulip, straight or nonic glass usually. 😉

I always wanted to try this recipe on cask. I have a nitro tap, but have never tried it with this mild. I normally only carb my British ales to about 6-7psi. Cask is not much of a thing here in the States.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm not really keen on nitro beers myself. I drink a Guinness once in a while but it's a pretty dumbed down drink these days I reckon. Not much flavour. Cask is my preferred serve, but I just bottle my homebrew, I've stuck with what I know. I make small batches and I like bottled beer.

I don't often choose keg when I'm out, partly as I prefer English beer styles, and they are mostly cask served here. I do think keg beer can be pretty similar to cask, if you serve it as god intended, unfiltered and unpasteurised, and without too much gas, but not too little either. I know some people naturally carbonate in the keg, which can get you very close to cask I think. Just use gas for top pressure. I think I'd do that.

All gone.
Had a small gathering last Friday (12 beer drinkers including myself and the wife). Went to pour the Mild the next day and only got about 2 fingers before the sputtering started.

Feedback was that this was the best beer (from those who enjoy maltier beers). Others enjoyed hoppier offerings.

Here's the last photo I took of it... delicious.
Thanks for the recipe!
