Good afternoon,

I got a kegging set up for christmas and I had a question about using manifolds. If i want to serve at x psi, if i set the regulator to that pressure it will be fine with a 2 way manifold. I would think since only one would be pouring at a time that i would only need to set it at the same pressure if you had just one keg, but i wanted to make sure i didn't have to set it at a high pressure because of the dual manifold/keg output.

Also, any advice on going a used (pressure tested) keg vs a new "class 2 from bvg elements? the new keg would be about 25 (because of shipping) dollars more expensive than a used ball lock from my lhbs (60).
Thanks!

Either keg should be fine. Just make sure that the kegs are cleaned and the O rings are in good conditioned and lubed well. Can't comment on your other question.

Not sure if I fully understand the question but will try to answer the best I can

I have a dual keg setup with a dual manifold connected to one regulator. I serve both beers at 11 psi. The regulator is set at 11 psi. If you want to serve two beers at different psi you would need at least two regulators. The main regulator set at the highest psi beer served and a second regular t off from the main and set that regulator at the lower psi.

I hope I explained that clear enough and answered your question

That is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks, I guess to put in the terms of your system I was wondering if you served both beers at 11psi you would have to set your regulator at 22psi since you are splitting it. I figured not but wanted to make sure.

Thanks.
