Hello ladies and gents! I brewed a mini mash coffee stout the other day, and have a question. I have done stouts before that came out a little watery for me, so I was going to use maltodextrin to help that out.
I added all my LME and DME at the beginning of the boil as instructed. The recipe also had me add 8 oz of Maltodextrin at the same time. I threw in an extra 4 oz at the same time. Did I use too much? I don't want a beer milkshake.
Any help would be appricated.
