Whats up!

Any advice to make carapils malt from green malt? should i do the same process for making crystal/caramel malts?

I want to malt my own carapils (the rest of the malts i get them cheap but i cant get carapils so thats why im planning to malt it from feed barley)

Cheers!

Just guessing but I would stew it at a high mash temp (70C/158F) then kiln it at low temp (115C/240F) to keep the color very light.

And maybe we would have to kiln at low temp for a longer time? i feel carapils a harder grain than others crystal grains
