Just received my package from AHS shot caller IPA can not wait for Friday to get here so I can do my first mini mash! Any tips for mini mashing or suggestions would be cool also if anyone has tried the Shot Caller IPA from AHS let me know about it!

While I'm still a nub brewer, the two kits I've done have been AHS mini-mashes. It's crazy easy -- just follow the directions and make sure your temps are good. Don't forget the hot water to put over the spent grains, I just heat the water in the microwave in a 2qt Pyrex glass.

+1 for 2 qt. pyrex sparging. Works really well.
