Mailing Hops from Canada to the USA

We are looking at supplying hops to the US homebrew market but we are based out of Canada.

The math all works out for the cross border shipping but I have not been able to figure out any restrictions on shipping pellet hops across the border. Anyone have any experience or know where to point me.

Do you have an agriculture department within your government? If so I would check with them.

It would also be important to check with US Customs. I've had to deal with them a few times sending things to family and actually found them rather helpful.
