I love Newcastle, but I won't drink it in a bottle. I haven't drank it in over five years.

This little Mexican place in Jarrell Tx has it on draught for 99 cents for a 14 ounce mug.

They are going to have to escort me out of here.

I'd almost forgotten how excellent that beer can be. I may have to brew a clone so I can drink it more often.

I can get it at Giant Eagle, but haven't in years. But,since I started home brewing,I have to go back & retry many beers I haven't had in a while. Guess I'll just have to tough out all this R & R. Hey,it's a dirty job,but I'll endeavor to persevere.:D:drunk::cross:

I'd love to try it on tap. I used to love it. It was one of my, if not my first, "craft" beer that Is tarted drinking. I have a set of 8 pint glasses and had a desktop background I rocked for the longest time.

It was interesting trying an old favorite with a more evolved palette.

When I drank it in bottles it always had a skunky aftertaste that became very unpleasant after a while. You get none that from the tap, just an excellent beer.

I think I've seen it in tall can 4 packs. And yeah,it's very interesting to go back & try them again, knowing what I know now.:mug:

I never tries one of those little aluminum kegs. If somebody knows how that compares to draught, let me know.

If you like Newcastle you need to try the AHS Southern Brown Ale kit. I did this and it's awesome.
