Low volume flow meter needed

I am trying to digitally measure and control the flow of wort from my mash tun to my brew kettle during sparge without having to count on opening the ball valve just enough each time. The meter would need to be low able to measure lower volumes since I am only transferring 7 gallons over a 45 minute period. I have looked everywhere I can think of so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would say if you were using water these would be great. The only issue I see is the indicator slides on a rod, that rod will become sticky and no longer allow the indicator to slide.

I work for a major meter manufacturer and have access to high quality precision turbine meters. I have two sitting on my desk I was thinking of using but the whole cleaning, calibration and maintenance is more of a hassle than just checking the level of sparge water on my grain bed. If the water is coming up, I close the valve more. To me it's just not worth it.

But I ended up getting a sanitary diaphragm valve. The valve gives me much more control of the flow rate were the sensor would just tell me the flow rate. one thing to consider when looking a flow rate sensors is the minimum flow rate, for home brewing purposes it should be less than 1 liter/min.

We also use paddle wheel flow sensors at work.
Ours fit into a CPVC Tee

They are kinda picky about location in the line. They dont handle turbulant flow very well. I think the plumbing formula was 10 times the pipe diameter to the nearest fitting. Your low flow may be beneficial.

Our controller does allow us to input an offset value if the 1-gal sample is off.
