My newly minted fiancé and I got a nice home brewing kit for Christmas, and we signed up to take a class, and have two beers in process. One is currently in the secondary fermenter, a glass carboy--it is a red ale made from a kit, and we are bottling for the first time tomorrow!
We are also moving our second batch of groltsch (also from a kit) from the primary to the secondary tomorrow. Next week we will make another batch, and await the day we can actually try our first homebrew. We began a blog called lovenestbrewing.wordpress.com and plan on taking pictures tomorrow. I don't do things in a small way
SO we will have three batches going before we even get to taste it. I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you. We live in NOrth Carolina, and got the kit from a great place called 5th Season in Carrboro, NC
