Someday I hope to make these meetings. But with gas at these prices $15+ round trip for just gas is too much (coming from Frankfort @ 25mpg). We need a Frankfort homebrew group...

Anybody on here interested in participating in a group buy? I have a Louisville member who is already in for 6 sacks. As it sits I have 28 sacks committed and we are trying to get to 41 sacks, due to some other items like Belgian Candy Syrup that will be on the pallet as well. PM if you are interested in seeing a NCM price sheet.

So I am now a member... Enjoyed the meeting! Oh and I'm getting in on the group buy too which is awesome. Now I wonder if Paul at My Old Kentucky Homebrew will crush some grain for me since I don't have a mill yet. Hmmmmm...

I had a really good time, too. Got to try a couple of really good beers. I didn't plan ahead, so I didn't have any cold beers to take I'll definitely have to take some to the next meeting or to the brew-in on Sunday. My IIPA is about to go into the secondary for dry-hopping, so that won't be ready, but I still have some of the brown ale I made earlier this year that's decent.

I was thinking about the brew in but not sure I'll go... Just dont know anyone yet. I don't have any ready Homebrew but I could pick up some good stuff to take.

Yeah, I definitely get that. I've been an introvert my whole life so I'm really trying to change that. Plus, I love this hobby, so it's cool to meet people with similar interests.

But it sounds like I have lunch plans on Sunday now so I can't make it to this one. I'm still planning on going to the next meeting, though. Maybe we could meet up around 7 next time and share some homebrews before things get started.
