This sounds absolutely awful. When I was in middle school we would get a bottle and just add **** to it (ketchup packets, apple juice, tuna cans, fruit, pepto bismol etc) and dare someone to drink it....this reminds me of that haha.

Kudos. You're a braver man than I.

I think it's a wonderfully complicated idea and I sincerely hope the end result pleases the wife and the partygoers. People crying about water as an ingredient can go kick stones. You boiled a marshmallow for godssake.

Anyone try the Bells 10000. It supposedly had 100 different fermentables and 60 hop varieties. 40 is nothing.

No but it sounds like its definetely worth a try. Im sure its gonna be good

Yes it was delicious. I preferred batch 9000 a bit more though. I wish they would bring back this series. It was one a year with pretty much leftovers from what I recall.

I have to admit the concept is interesting as I am about to turn 40 as well but I think I am just going to do a 1.040 OG, 40 IBU, 40 SRM beer that is lagered at 40 degrees for 40 days or something like that.

I used marshmallow creme in a S'more Porter I tried a few months ago. Even with fermcap-S it still boiled over. My club wouldn't let me run it through the plate chiller either. It was a mess.

It all fermented away. I used 3 lbs of marshmallow creme and couldn't taste any marshmallow flavor at all.

We did this at lunch, except we called it lunch room fear factor lol.

Brew sounds interesting!
