Im wanting to get a keg set up. I am in the process of finishing my basement and have plans on building a keezer. But before that I was thinking would it be practical to get a keg set up to bottle out of? Running low on bottles and want to get more batches done. Dont want to invest much more into bottles as I plan to go all kegs eventually with a beer gun to bottle at times. What I want to do is get the kegging set up and force carb. No fridge to put kegs in yet so coldest would be basement temps around 65. Would there be any issue with force carbing at this temp, then bottling when needed and putting into fridge for consumption once cooled? As said eventually I will have a keezer set up but not till other things in basement are done.

What would be the best way to go about this?

You'd have to carb at about 25-30 psi to compensate for the higher temperature. With that high psi, you will have a bad time trying to get a decent pour to put into bottles.

If you plan on getting the keezer soon, I'd recommend natural carbing at room temp and store the kegs until you get the keezer setup.
