Hello,

I am looking to purchase a kegerator and want some feedback. I really want to convert a chest freezer by putting a collar on it but currently because of space issues this diy project will have to wait a couple of years, it is not a possibility right now. Therefore, I am looking to purchase a professionally prebuilt kegerator. I would do a diy build of a small minifridge kegerator but I do not feel comfortable drilling through the unit. Instead I would like to purchase a factory built kegerator with the possiblilty of selling it in the future when I build my chest freezer. Things that I want out of the store bought kegerator are the following:

-Ability to hold two 5 gallon kegs (must have) and if possible hold the co2 tank within the unit.

- A cooled tower to limit beer foaming

- Not a cheap brand, a brand that produces quality products.

-Could have 2 faucets but not a deal breaker if it only has one faucet

-I already have a prewired johnson temperature control; therefore, I do not need one prebuilt in the unit but I would consider buying one prebuilt in.

-I want 304 stainless steel perlick faucets on my kegerator, I am assuming I would have to buy the faucets separate.

Does anyone have any recommendations that may fit what I want? Thanks.

Trust me, shop Criag's List - it is your friend and you will find a great kegerator for 1/2 to a 1/3 the price.

The perlicks and dual faucet you can add on after you buy. If you are lucky you can find a True kegerator and that will fit four kegs.

Craigslist for that price range. You should be able to get a good one with that budget. Brand new, you really need to be 1k plus to get one like you want.

I can't find it on their website but I was in Great Fermentations yesterday and they are selling complete prebuilt kegerators that they assemble in the store. It looked nice but I didn't really look at the price.

The one on display was a mini fridge that would hold one keg and co2 inside or they will strip the inside of the door so u can put 2 kegs inside and co2 on the outside and a tower for dispensing.

Look up kegco on Amazon. They have 3 tap units for around the price you want to spend, but without perlicks.
