Guys, it's been a loooooong time since I've been on HBT. Twin 2 1/2 year old boys and a new job in a new state has left me little time to brew lately. However, my new place has a finished basement and behind our bar is a storage area. I'm just looking for ideas how people have stored cold kegs and ran beer lines/taps to the other side of the wall.

Here is the dry bar, a real mess for now.

A bit behind on the times, but congrats on your boys! My fiancee and I are still trying for our first, but congrats on everything you have thus far!

Welcome back!

Maybe a bit boring but how about coming through wall below the counter and placing a tap tower and drip tray. If you have a full depth counter (25"), I think it could be awkward to reach for tap handles mounted to the wall, but that seems like the second obvious option

You can put up some lower stair type shelves for liquor bottles and have a coffin type set-up in between with taps. Mirrors and glass shelves on the side. Super classy.

Should be pretty easy if you have room for a chest freezer behind the wall.

At the most basic level:

* Build a collar on the freezer and get a temp controller.
* Build some kind of "tunnel" out of PVC pipe and run that out the collar to the wall.
* Add some airflow to the tunnel so the beer lines in it stay cool.
* Use either a wall mounted or tower system for the taps.
