Like the ridge on a bayou classic kettle for their false bottoms to rest on? I have a lot of space under mine though... 3 gallons which is ok because that liquid is still drained and used.

I'm not sure about the bayou classic. I had one that just had a flat bottom and used a pico style 3 piece false bottom. The ridge / ledge the false bottom sits on in the v3 spikes looks to be maybe 1/2" to 3/4" off the bottom. So you are looking at maybe .5ish gallons underneath as opposed to the 2+ under the old style.
