My Name is Evan,
My girlfriend bought us a brew kit as a sort of housewarming gift for our new house and we brewed up a real nice IPA from DME and recipe givin to us by the HomeBrew supply. The first one turned out great now we are on our second batch and Im afraid I made a new brewer mistake and let my girlfriend talk me into doing a fruit infused beer with apricots its still fermenting so we'll see how it turns out used DME. Trying to figure out if I needed to buy the $22 fruit puree from the brew supply or if I could have just blended up some apricots myself time will tell. Love brewing so far hope to keep honing my skills then upgrading my equipment as I get better. Any advise is appreciated or recipes I never really go by other peoples recipes exact I like to tweak it a little to make it my own which is why I got into the game in the first place!
