I'm probably not going to get to far with this, because I don't think it is sold in the states, but can anyone help me with advice on cloning this. Personally I don't like it, and I usually don't get into lagers, but my bro in law is in love with it. I'd like to try my hand at lagering so I told him I would see what I could do. Since it's not exactly what I'm into I have no idea where to even start. I've looked and there just isn't much info. Here it is on beer advocate though.

Are you sure? The style of this beer on BA is listed as a German Pils, and the one you chose from AHS is a Märzen. I would think maybe something like this?

It's listed as a oktoberfest/marzen by some and a pils by others. I really didn't get pilsner from it. It was malty sweet, watered down, with no hops. Tasted like crap in my opinion. But my bro in law who is a BMC kind of guy loved it, and if this is what it takes to get him off BMC I'll give it a try.

That's fine. maybe it will inch him closer to the good stuff. I took him to my local brew club cook out, and he tried an Arrogant Bastard clone. You should have seen the look on his face. It was priceless!
