A robust porter base that will eventually become a maple hazelnut porter. Brew day went well, was finished before 9am. Now it's fermenting in my super de-duper, high tech, open-top fermentation chiller. Read: swamp cooler.

Brew bondage... This is only my second brew (extract) and I just happened to be in the room when the stopper popped out. I sanitized it put it back in only to see it happen again. Sanitized cleaned the Carboy neck and tied it up with Saran and cable ties... No duct tape around.

My first brew. A full boil extract hefeweizen. About 5 1/3 gallon into my Speidel in the fridge, BrewPi doing its thing. Been in there about 28 hours at 65F. Bubbling like crazy tonight.

PB2 is a powdered peanut butter you are supposed to add water to. I got it off amazon, but grocery stores have it too. I plan to boil some water, mix with the powder, throw in the secondary then rack on top of it. Rumor has it will cause a huge mess so be prepared.

1 gallon American farmhouse (wlp670) farmers market cider. This one should be exciting! anyone tried this yeast in cider before?

the first one is a dark belgian strong with 3787! the blow off tube was to small so i got a lot of problems..!

the second one is another belgian dark strong but this time with 1762, i was expecting a big krausen and i build a sistem in order to use a bigger tube.
for now (is two day into fermentation) the krausen isn't so big...

the third was a belgian strong, my first beer with 3787, i was not aware of the big krausen of this yeast! and it pulled of the cap!

the fourth was an imperial stout, the cake of the 1728 build an incredible krausen in 6 hours!

the others are part of my funky angle

Not really. It did add some strong aroma to the beer, but it kept clogging, even though the beer was flowing fairly slow. I probably should have used less hops. I think I had 3 oz leaf in there.

Same Siason recipe but US-05 on the left and Imperial Independence on the right. OG 1.056 and 05 ripped through initial fermentation faster then Independence.
