I just finally clicked into that list, had some fond memories, saw some unfond memories, then got to the committee. FIB, FIB, FIB, Bill, FIB, FIB, California homie, FIB, California homie, FIB. Not sure what surprised me more. How many of those beers I have had, or how many of those homies on the committee I consider friends.

Mimosa was also heavily oxidized last time I had it. Can't even imagine how 2004 Dark Lord is tasting right now, ******* gross.
I drank an 05 DL in 2016 and it was actually pleasant. A bit oxidized and ashy, but that helped balance the sweetness. Pretty mellow beer. 9/10 would bang again.

Beers of that age it's always a gamble.

God, I know I was hungover AF, but the one jedwards brought to #deathbylargeformat made me instant gag. It was gross af. Little barleywine flavor, lots of musty cork. I also had one of the first pours, so mine was probably mostly cork.

Technically not a King's! #VintageBassPedant But yeah, that cork was unfortunate. I didn't get to be picky with 100+ year old magnums though.

Not exclusive to whales, but I have this old list from 2010 of the BA top 100 beers hanging around my old ass car:

That was interesting. Some names in there I miss, is cbeer88 ever on here any more (looks like yes!)? Was cpferris ever (also yes!)? I wonder how they're doing...

You rang? Strange timing - I was just on here yesterday for first time in forever. About to post an ISO...

Kids really put a dent into the time I have for the beer hobby... would definitely love to get another Blind BIF going one of these days though.

Blind BIF is the ****, do it do it!

Well I have to ask what the one is that you are missing. You are so close to being a 2010 legend.
WTF is Bar Harbor Brewing?
Cadillac mountain stout, never even heard of it until now, apparently it was the go to of a many folks back in 2012. looks like its been bought out by Atlantic Brewing company

It's a bland uninspiring beer now, been that way since they sold. The original was about as good as you'd get for a sub-imperial stout though, and held its place rightly on the Top 100 list for years.
