So I made a recipe a co-worker of mine gave me. Basically take a standard IPA and add 6 large lemons, 6 small limes, chopped up in the secondary. I let it sit and then kegged, etc. for about a month cold conditioning and carbonating. End of the day I don't like it, it tastes good but there is a weird lingering aftertaste of limes that is too strong.

Question is, at this stage in the game, is there anything I can add to fix it? Seems like a shame to let 5 gallons go to waste.

I was thinking maybe add flavoring to the glass I pour it in; could possibly open the keg to add there, but would need instruction on anything special needed for an already carbonated, full, corny.

Appreciate everyone's help with the recipe in advance! Would be great if I could add an ingredient or two to make it better.

I would consider making the same recipe again without the lemon/lime addition and blend the two together. What hops were used?

I used one ounce of nugget hops for 45 mins, two ounces of cascade hops at various points.
I'm not really interested in making it again if I can't salvage this batch. Any ideas of how to save it by adding something else?

Add a little tequila to your next pint. Maybe it can be a tequila lime IPA?

Mix it with a bland commercial APA or IPA as you drink it. I've done this a few times for batches that were overdosed with an ingredient. The blend actually made a good beer.

Thanks for the responses, all were great! So far I have mixed it with founders all day ipa and its much better. I also mixed it with some watered down lemonade and made a summer shandy that is seriously good; the bitter flavors are masked and filled really well with the lemonade.

Haven't had a chance to mix with a malty beer or tequila yet, looking forward to trying.

Thanks again!
