Just wondering If anyone here has any idea what book is the best about the History of Beer and history of the styles? I really want to get to know my beer :ban:

There are TONS of good books out there. Many are regional (Brew like a monk is on Belgian beers, there are some on english ales, some on german, some on American, etc)! I would look at Revvy's awesome thread. He has a lot of books quoted and more than enough resources to occupy your mind until you find books you want.

My suggestion would be to see if any quotes in Revvy's thread that jump out at you and make you think, "Man that is cool, I would love to read more on that!" Then buy that book!

Thanks brother Germelli for those kudos!!! :mug:

Also, if you're looking specifically for info on American Beers, I can't recommend highly enough Maureen Ogle's book Ambitious Brew.

Her blog archive has a lot of material covering the imbev takeover or Anheiseur Bush as well as stuff that didin't make it into here original book, so I encourage you to dig through that as well.

Very welcome sir!

And OP, that book is awesome^. One reason I was hesitant to recommend specific books is there are so many options. Some books are novel format tracing the history of beer and others it takes 20 minutes to get through a page because they delve so deeply into the scientific aspects of brewing!
