I have a sanke D connector with a 90 degree elbow similar to this:
Where the elbow connects to the connector, I've been having trouble with leaks. It has the appropriate neoprene washer, but when I take it apart I've noticed the washer looks deformed. I suspect the added leverage of the elbow connector is causing me to over tighten the connector, causing the washer to deform and resulting in a leak.
To prevent all that, can I replace the neoprene washer with a sturdier nylon washer of the same size?
