I went out to my kegerator yesterday, and there was a puddle in the front. I figured out that my corny keg of cider is leaking where I hook up my "line out." The keg was not hooked up, but was pressurized. I left out all the co2, and it stopped leaking, obviously. It's leaking right out of the hole on the top of the connector where the beer/cider would flow into the line to the faucet....is that "connector" something I can replace? Or is the keg toast?
Question 2, what to do with the cider in the keg? Should I bottle it? If I did, should I add sugar to carbonate or are the yeasties dead? There's probably 3.5 gallons left. I don't want to toss it. I guess flat cider is better thatn tossing it.
