So I ordered a 2 pressure kegging kit about a month ago, and finally got around to hooking up the second keg. I turn on the gas, and I notice CO2 is escaping from the spot where the gas line connects to the regulator. I took it apart, and it doesn't seem to have any teflon tape or anything, but neither does the other gas connection, and it doesn't leak.

So should I just tape it up? How will that affect things when I need to clean the gas line?

That.

Also, clean the gas line? As long as you don't suck beer back into the gas line, I can't imagine why you'd want to clean it.

Cool, well I'll pick up some teflon tape on my way home today then.. It seems strange, these were the only connections that didn't have anything to shore up the seal.. I just assumed that was done for a reason
