LD Carlson Flavor Extracts

Hey, anyone used the LD Carlson flavoring stuff... blueberry, etc? I made a honey wheat ale, and added their blueberry flavoring at bottling time...

ehhh, seems like the flavoring made it taste like crap. i mean its good but theres this soapy artificial flavor that lingers, which smells about like it smelled in the bottle before I added it. Guess I should have known it wouldn't get any better. dang...

I, for one, never put any kind of fruit extract in anything I brew. Used a few early on. The only extract I'm willing to use is Birch Beer and if I figure out how to make that, I will.

yeah.. if i ever do it again i'll use the puree in the secondary instead.
