FWIW I believe CBC Waterbury has replaced Hunger Mountain in the Lawson's bottle rotation. Warren Store is your best bet if you're staying through Thursday since that's their delivery day for bottles, while CBC and Beverage Warehouse don't get bottles until Friday.

CBC gets bottles but didn't replace anything or anyone.

I just bought 2 bottles of Kiwi DIPA at Hunger Mountain on Thursday evening.

Does anyone know the actual address of where the new facility is located? Not been able to find that anywhere.

Apparently the tickets for the anniversary bottle sale and party came and went yesterday very quickly and with very little warning. I was bummed about missing out at first, but then I saw the bottle list and the details for the sale and party and now I am significantly less bummed.

I saw the tickets, it looked like you need to buy a ticket to the ball in order to attend the market this year. It’s definitely worth it if you can stay all night, but if not it’s $40 on top of purchase prices. Probably still worth it if they have Peril on draught at the market.

Grrrr....
For a 10 year anniversary, to cut the attendance by 2/3 from previous years, increase the bottle limits, and only provide absolute minimum notice, really puts a damper on what was once one of my favorite events of the year. Seems that if they are pushing the narrative of "sorry, see you at the Grand opening!", how about just postpone until then. Ten year/Grand Opening extravaganza! Has a nice ring to it...
(Better things going on that weekend anyway)

I would have skipped the party and not been salty about the ticket price if the sale was more enticing to me. I've got a huge soft spot for Double Sunshine; Peril always gets me excited; and I was hoping to fill my car with a ton of fresh af cans of whatever Super Session I assumed they would have. But none of that is going to be available anyway, so I really don't care.

Plus, as Os said, TB5 is gonna be the highlight of my year anyway, so I GUESS I'll just have to drown my sorrows in whatever amazing beer is on at Parker Pie that night.

Glad to see someone else mention Peril as their favorite.

Any updates on the new brewery?

I was wondering about that as well since we'll be up in late October. I saw on their website under May news that they're on traffic for an "autumn opening", but obviously that's a pretty broad range.

No opening date as of yet (Facebook page says "Autumn") But there is this....

I'm still holding out hope that they'll be open when I go up in October.

Honestly, since I'm such a Lawson's fanboy according to diesehrl I might make a weekend trip whenever they decide to open. If it's during stick season it should be slow too.
