I find a style I'd like to try and read other's recipes for an idea of what it takes and start punching in the numbers on the brew calculator.

I just received my ingredients to make a rye pale, a blonde, honey blonde, and a black IPA next, but will be waiting 'til after the holidays to get started.

In my shopping cart I have the ingredients for what I call a mild using 4 lbs of pilsen LME, 2 lbs of rice DME, 6 oz of crystal 10, Liberty and WLP 001/1272 that ought to be 4.7% ABV for those who took a long time to drink my blonde. And an amber that I'll try using a little Special Roast and Victory to get something similar to Fat Tire.

I love a good coffee stout and want to try that, as well as a barleywine, and an IIPA. Not to mention trying a mead.

I left off my first 2 brews which were a complete failure. A Cooper's lager kit and a Mr Beer West Coast pale ale I tried to convert into an IPA.
