Lager Temp.

I started fermentation on my lager and the temp is holding at 47. I'm getting some fermentation, but not as much as i'd get from a room temp. fermentation. Is this normal? Is 47 degrees too low for the yeast?

Its normal. Lager yeast is slower and less explosive than ales.
