I have an extract Maibock that is finished fermenting and has been lagering for 8 weeks. I took my final gravity reading yesterday and it is ready to bottle. The question I have is that the beer in the hydrometer already had the charecteristics of carbonation and tasted carbonated as well. Do I need to use priming sugars to bottle or can I go without them since it looks and tastes carbonated already?

If the gravity has remained in changed it means there is no more fermentable sugar in the beer so yes you need priming sugar to properly carbonate
