Kreezer help

Whats up Brew Talk,

I just got my kegging system in and am in the mix of making a kreezer, I was searching on the home depot site and found:

It says that the freezer itself is temperature controlled and the temperature is adjustable, so my main question is would i need a temperature control unit to control the system or is this freezer alone everything i need?

Yes you would. Temperature controlled just means there is a knob that controls how cold it gets. It isn't accurate enough to do the job and the highest setting is probably still freezing or damn close to it.

Like Tom said.... The temperature controller on the freezer is like the one in your refrigerator. Low to High (with the high near freezing or lower). You'll need something fairly accurate that will let you also set the amount of 'swing' you want between temperatures. For example, if you want your keezer set at 38F, you can set the controller to come on at 40F and go off at 36F. The dial on the freezer probably has a much larger swing than that.
