I bought some of this, but it didn't come with any instructions. I'm assuming I just boil it in some water, let cool, and add to bottling bucket, but really not sure. Any advice would be helpful. I have a 5 gal. batch of chocolate porter I want to bottle on Friday. Thanks.

Better read the instructions - it says it is for 23 Litres of beer - aka 6 gallons. I used an entire pack on a Moose Drool clone, and had 10 bottle bombs. If you have a kitchen scale, i would weigh it, the divide by 6, and get rid (or save) 1/6th of it. That should be plenty for a 5 gallon batch. Better to err on using less than more with that stuff.

Also, I tend to use it with corn sugar - 1 oz of KreamyX and 3.5 ounces of corn sugar per 5 gallon batch. So far, this has led to great carbonation an head retention.
