Day two of fermentation was more than I anticipated and the kraussen got up in the airlock (3piece) and overflowed on to the lid of my ale pail.

I cleaned it up as quickly as possible, replaced the airlock with a new one (clean/sanitized), but was wondering am I at risk of contamination?

Checked this morning, everything was bubbling away as usual. The beer is a hefeweizen and in a basement which is between 65-70 degrees. This is my third hefe and never had a blowover like this before.

Thoughts?

You should be fine, at that stage of fermentation your yeast buds are pumping out a ton of CO2. Even without an airlock everything will be going out, not in.

Next time (especially with a wheat beer) use a blow-off tube and/or some fermcap and your krausen will be more manageable.
