In the past I have done kits and bits and made a stout using the ingredients listed below. My aim is to make something as close as possible to this using all grain method. I know you can't know exactly what is in a wort can but I need some help formulating the recipe similar to this.
1.7kg Coopers Stout Can
1.7kg Coopers Dark Ale Can
1.5kg Amber Malt (from homebrew store)
Steeped grains:
100g Choc chit grain
250g Dark Crystal grain
Filled fermenter to 20L mark and used two packets of good ale yeast.
The brew was a solid black colour with a brown creamy head.
Please can you help me formulate a very similar recipe. I need help knowing proportions of grains etc as this will be my first all grain brew.
