So I’m moving over to an all electric system. The kettle I was originally using for the boil is to small for the elements I got. The other day I got an awesome deal on some BIG kettles and got them. Before drilling anything I put 7 gallons of water I the boil kettle to see how
High up it went. It’s looks like it will cover the element if I pace it really really low. Has anyone one ever run into this issue?? The only
Thing I could think of was getting something to displace some of the wort in the kettle. Any help would be great.

Elements in the kettles are usually pretty low anyway. I think mine are only maybe 2"or less off the bottom. How big is the kettle you're looking at using?
