I recently bought a GE 7.0 cu. ft. and I can fit one fermenting bucket in the bottom and if I build a small step I can fit another one on the compressor hump. Based on the height of my bucket (with airlock) the lid will close with about an inch to spare for the one on the hump.

If you want to make sure you just have to go to the store with your tape measure and take a set of internal dimensions of the freezer then compare them to your carboys. Thats what I had to do (I had the same question).
