I have access to a keg that already has the top cut out of it. However there is no valve in the bottom. I plan on getting a no weld type of valve. My only concern at this point is how to filter out the trub. I use pellet type hops. I saw a picture on this forum that shows just a simple copper tube bent in a circular pattern with holes drilled in it. would this work?

Could I even make it work without installing a valve at all? Just whirlpool after cooling, and siphon out?
