Hi all,

I've been brewing water kefir successfully in bottles, but our quantities started to get very time consuming (5 gallons every two days) so I wanted to switch to kegs. I'm brand new to kegging, so we bought a corny keg with a picnic tap and expected that the natural carbonation would be enough.

After two days of second fermentation in the keg, we hooked up the picnic tap and the kefir was great, except it came out so foamy that all the carbonation was gone by the time I drank it.

Is there anything I can do different or any equipment I can use that won't eliminate the natural carbonation between keg and glass?

Thanks!

I'd need to know what water kefir is before I could even begin to help LOL. @Yooper is an expert at alternative fermentations (food, drink, etc.) so she's a good one to have on the case. If you explain a little more about your process, what is happening, and what you are hoping for, others here might be able to chime in, also.
