If you force carbonate your brew in a keg and have to disconnect for trasporting away from home, how long before your beer goes flat. Is it hours, days, weeks? I dont want to travel with a keg full of carbonated beer hooked up to the CO2 tank, just for sake of ease.

If there are no leaks it will stayed carbed indefatigably
.

Exactly,, As long as the beer is not exposed to any oxygen
it will stay carbed indefinitely.
Leave a little pressure on the kegs at all times say around 10psi
and you should be good.

I've had no issues with my kegs losing pressure over time. Just make your seals are good and you use keg lube and you should be good to go.
