Kegging Equipment For Chest Freezer

Hello,
I just bought a 28 Cu Ft Chest Freezer and I wanted to know what the best way of getting a massive amount of taps in there. I was looking on kegkits.com and they have the 2 tap tower system for 176. I was thinking of buying that and detaching the shanks from the tower so I can use it later and instead building a collar for the fridge from wood. I was thinking of trying to install maybe 4-6 taps and I need to know what equipment I need to route one CO2 tank to more lines and all that stuff.

I'm completely new to this so any help would be much appreciated

You want to take the shanks off the tower and put them through a collar? I would instead save money and effort and just buy regular shanks to go through your collar. with that many taps you are gonna need a CO2 distributer to run gas to all your kegs.

That will allow you to serve all the kegs at the same pressure if you have a single regulator.

I just stumbled upon that site from this forum. I think I'll make my purchase there as they seem cheaper.

The reason I wanted to get the tower and take them off is so that I can set up the tower later if I wanted to; however, I think I will just get the shanks.

Does anyone know if they do "upgrades" to the kits?

Also, how big of a tank do you think I should get?

I would stay away from KegKits.com I have heard only negative things there. I have gone with kegconnections, and the beveragefactory.com

28 cubic feet will make a beast of a keezer! If you are installing 4-6 taps you will have tons of room for other items.

I would, as has been said, forego the tower idea altogether.

If later you want to install a tower, you can buy one without the faucets.
