I'm trying to wrap my head around the concept of kegging and building a keg fridge. It seems like something that you learn just by jumping into it, which is kind of what I prefer anyways. Obviously I have a few questions:

1)Can I buy a keg(s) now, and store my beer in it/them until I get a fridge built?

2)I probably would want 4 kegs total in the long run, so whats the ideal way to go about getting those setup? Ive seen the two-keg kits on one of the kegging websites, would I just buy 2 of those? Or is there a 4-keg kit?

3)I would probably be looking for a cheap full-size refridgerator on Craigslist, and then drilling through the door to install my shanks/handles. Is there a "better" way to do this?

Thanks in advance for any responses, this idea is just in its infancy stage right now.

1) Yes throw some Co2 on top.

2) depends on how much you brew

3) CL Is a great place to look. I had someone give me one as a gift.

You could also cut with hole saw. Just get through the first layer. Then take a knife and carefully cut the insulation out. Once you are through throw the hole saw back in and cut the last layer. Throw your shank in and you are good to go.
