Hi everyone,

I built a kegerator from a mini fridge and the fridge’s defroster pan has consistently filled up with water ever since. I think (but am not sure) it is due to cold air getting out/hot getting in because the kegerator tower cap doesn’t seal properly. I am reluctant to buy a replacement cap because I am concerned it won’t fit (that will teach me to buy budget brew gear!) so instead, I am thinking about spraying some insulation foam into the tower below the shank to prevent leakage. Do any of you see an issue with this? If so, what do you suggest I do instead (other than replace the tower.) Thanks so much for your help!

I wouldn't foam below the highest shank in case you decide to add a tower cooling fan.
If the cap is loose I'd try to make it seal...

Cheers!
