Howdy guys
I'm new to the HomeBrewTalk. Longtime lurker first time poster. Anywho I wanted to share a kegerator/fermentation chamber I built from a side by side refrigerator. I used an InkBird controller on the freeze side to turn the compressor on and off and then have a controller on the refrigerator side that sends power to either a "hot" outlet or a "cold" outlet depending on the PV vs SP. The hot outlet I plan on plugging in a hot lamp to, but truthfully in Texas I haven't had much issue requiring heat. The cold side goes to a computer fan that in theory would pull air in from the freezer to the fridge side. Need more cold send more air. In practice this has not worked so well. I swapped out my slower fan for a high speed and it still doesn't seem to move enough air. Has anyone else built a system like this before, and if so, what sort of solutions did y'all come up with to move air more effectively?
Thanks for the help guys!
