Does anyone have any experience with True Residential Kegerators (http://www.true-residential.com/Pro...ser-24-Series-Dual-Tap-Stainless-Solid/#top)?
I'm doing a kitchen remodel and SWMBO agreed to adding a kegerator as long as we could also add a wine fridge.
I saw the True products in a local appliance showroom and they look pretty nice. They're also a bit spendy, so I thought I'd see if anyone here had any experience.
Ultimately, I'm not wedded to this brand, so any suggestions for a good quality in-kitchen kegerator setup would be most welcome. Here are my basic requirements:
1. Under counter
2. Dual faucet, 24" width (may get cut down to single faucet, 15" width as planning progresses
)
3. Ability to support Sanke as well as Cornelius kegs with ball locks so I can serve both commercial and homebrews without much difficulty.
Any other things I should be on the lookout for? Any traps/gotchas when installing a kegerator as part of a kitchen remodel?
Oh, one final question. What sort of clearance should I leave above the tap handles if I was going to install cabinets above the kegerator?
Thanks in advance!
