Keg works tower

Hey guys I just got this kegworks tower through amazon, it seems like it’s missing the surface mount gasket and the finish seems severely damaged in certain areas, is this normal? I’ve never bought any one like this before? I should probably return it right

If you can't wipe off whatever that is (including the crud in the 2nd pic) with a damp sponge it's definitely not "normal" and should be returned.
And if there's no flange gasket, that's another reason to punt it back...
