middle of nowhere, oh
Good morning HBT! So.... in the not to distant past I had two kegs drilled and welded with nipples instead of couplings. I noticed that the interior of the nipples had bubbled in the middle. They also did a crap job of cleaning the welding slag on the interior. I am good at cleaning, but can this impact the quality of my beer? Should I cut them out and have couplings welded in??

As long as its on things that are before you chill the wort I would not worry about it. Sanitary welds are only important on things after the wort is chilled the boil will kill off any nasties.
