I have a keg shortage problem. Long story short I have a big party coming up and all my kegs are full of beer. Normally that would be a GOOD problem to have
. However, I promissed my kids that I would make some birch beer for them for the party and force carb it in a keg.
I have several beers lagering in kegs - a Czech pils, and an Marzen. I also have an APA and an Alt that are not for the party but are conditioning in kegs.
To get an empty keg do you think I could rack one of these beers into a carboy for a week to free up keg space?
I should have planned better and just ordered a few extra kegs, heck, I need them anyway, but my preferred keg supplier takes a week or two to get me kegs, and I don't have that kind of time.
Thanks.
Alan
