I'm planning on expanding my brewing system from my single converted keg. I have secured a second keg for my HLT, and have been debating buying the 10 gallon Igloo for my Mash, or buying another keg.

I have already ordered a 12" stainless false bottom from Williams Brewing:

As well as a bulkhead, valve and interior hose barb for the bulkhead.

My question is has anyone used a silicone pick up tube like used in the Igloo mash but in the a keg?

I assume that it would work the same as the Igloo Mash, but I'm curious because almost all the false bottoms on the Keg Mash tuns have a rigid dip tube.

Thanks for the heads up man. Looks like I'll be returning that false bottom and exchanging it for one with a rigid tube.

I'm in the same boat. My question is what clamps to use to attach the tubing to the false bottom and barb on the faucet. Are there stainless steel clamps??

Edit: found the clamps. Thanks
